Pelliron offers a limited selection of instruments: Forex, Stocks, and Commodities. They provide stocks on major US indices, and commodities like gold, oil, and agricultural products. For me, this selection feels limited, and I would prefer a broker that offers more diverse instruments, like cryptocurrencies or indices.
Pelliron provides the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform, which is great for more experienced traders like me. I enjoy MT5 for its advanced charting and trading tools, as well as its multi-device support. However, the lack of MT4 may be an issue for traders who prefer the older platform.
Pelliron offers commission-free trading, but the spreads are quite high. The EUR/USD spread starts from 3 pips, which is higher than what I would expect from a competitive broker. The spreads on other instruments are even worse, such as the 1200 pips spread for JP225, which makes Pelliron quite costly to trade with.
While Pelliron is regulated by the FSA, which adds some level of legitimacy, I still find the offshore regulation concerning. It does provide some protection, but it doesn’t have the same credibility or security as brokers regulated by authorities like the FCA or ASIC. Personally, I would tread carefully with this broker.
